Sea turtles have long mystified researchers by returning to beaches where they were hatched, magnetic signals may be the key, new research finds.

Recent water samples show red tide off the coast of Southwest Florida, with one spot on Sanibel Island reporting high levels.

The center relies on funding from the John H. Prescott Marine Mammal Rescue Assistant Grant Program, she said.
