This afternoon, snow is rapidly spreading across the mountains and Upstate South Carolina. This will be the first decent snow we've seen in almost three years!Temperatures are in the upper 20s to right around the freezing mark across the region.

Another massive winter storm is forecast to pummel the southern and eastern U.S., with impacts from Texas to the Carolinas.

The snow may be over in north Georgia, but dropping temperatures in the next few hours will lead to dangerous conditions on metro Atlanta's roads and potential power outages.
