The next season of MultiVersus will be the crossover fighting game’s last. Warner Bros. Games announced Friday that development on MultiVersus is ending, and that the game will go offline on May 30, the day that the upcoming season 5 comes to a close.

Player First Games has announced that MultiVersus Season 5 will be its last, bringing the Warner Bros. platform fighting game to a close May 30, 2025, at 9 a.m. PST. The studio revealed plans to discontinue support for the crossover brawler with a blog post on its website.

Today, it's been confirmed that MultiVersus will go offline on May 30th, 2025, with the final season beginning in a few days' time. The game's microtransactions are being removed immediately as well, and that includes on the Xbox Store.
