The Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers are postponing their home games on Saturday as a result of the ongoing fires in the greater Los Angeles area, per reports.

The NHL’s Los Angeles Kings were the first to act, scrapping a scheduled Wednesday night game vs. the Calgary Flames at Crypto.com Arena. The Lakers of the NBA followed suit on Thursday, postponing a matchup with the Charlotte Hornets; makeup dates for the two contests haven’t been determined yet.

The decision comes a day after the NBA postponed the Lakers’ game against the Hornets. Earlier Friday, Lakers coach JJ Redick talked about losing his home in the Palisades fire and said he was hoped the game would be played as scheduled.
