AdventHealth is giving a nearly $830,000 donation to Georgia Northwestern Technical College to expand its nursing program.

VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - According to NursingProcess.org the Wiregrass Georgia Technical College Practical Nursing (LPN) program is ranked as one of the top 10 Best in Georgia.

School is officially back, and South Georgia Technical College has kicked off its LPN to RN program.

According to the Georgia Secretary of State website, to apply for Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, applicants must first have graduated from an approved nursing education program.
