Alverno College will expand its nursing program to Arizona with plans to open a location in a suburb of Phoenix next year.

As Arizona continues to experience a nursing shortage, a private, accredited university is launching its first nursing program in the state.

Arizona is facing one of the worst nursing shortages in the nation and NAU is offering a fast-paced nursing program.

WCU School of Nursing’s LPN Advanced Placement program will be offered in a hybrid format beginning in fall 2023 with required pre-nursing courses taught in summer 2023.
