Falon Brown, who was most recently a reporter for WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge, was hired for the position this week. Brown, a native of Ascension Parish, is a graduate of Louisiana State University.

Falon Brown is leaving local TV to work as the communications director for East Baton Rouge Mayor-President Sid Edwards.
