Temperatures return to the upper 40s and lower 50s for Denver’s weather forecast after some impressive snow totals came in over the past 24 hours.
According to the National Weather Service, those leftover icy patches could hang on through the morning before a rapid warm-up takes over for the rest of the weekend. Highs are expected to climb to around 49°F on Saturday, jump into the low 60s on Sunday, March 8, and could flirt with 70°F on Monday, March 9, across the plains.
Denver has seen a 38-day snowless streak this winter, the longest since 2009, but potential snowfall on Friday may finally bring relief.
Icy roads expected Friday night, but the sun returns for Saturday- a lot of melting taking place. Highs in the 70s next week.
Denver temperatures were expected to approach near-record highs on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s rain showers, according to the National Weather Service.
