Following several more inches of snow, windchill on Monday morning will make temperatures feel like below zero across the state.
Wednesday turns milder, with highs near 40, along with a mostly cloudy sky and a few rain and snow showers in the afternoon. It turns breezy out of the south, with gusts around 30 mph. Thursday will be mostly cloudy and mild, with highs in the mid-40s. The wind turns stronger out of the south, with gusts over 40 mph possible.

TODAY Light snow is possible north of I-96 through the morning, with little if any accumulation expected. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies will rule the day as highs peak near 20 with a breezy southerly wind. Away from Lake Michigan, wind chills will likely be held to the single digits.

As mentioned before, Monday will be a lot warmer for us as temperatures will be back into the mid to upper 20s with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Temperatures will continue to warm up through the week, and temperatures may even be above freezing Tuesday through Thursday.
Monday will bring slightly moderating temperatures, though still well below normal, with weakening winds. Lake effect snow and upslope snow should gradually taper off through the day, though northern areas may see additional snow later Monday as a fast-moving weather system passes to the north.
