A recent addition to Austin’s skyline is getting a new owner. Cousins Properties announced it is acquiring the building that's shaped like a sail in Downtown Austin for more than $521.8 million.

As Austin's downtown skyline climbed higher and higher in 2024 ... downtown beginning in the 2010s that has resulted in several new towers, which now are drawing tenants away from older towers.
