According to Rolling Stone ’s Nancy Dillon, Rihanna was seated in the courtroom’s front row alongside Rocky’s mother, Renee Black. Dillon also noted that Rihanna kept her head down and appeared emotional throughout the proceedings.

With partner Rihanna in court in support, Rakim Mayers — who raps as ASAP Rocky — faced testimony from his former collaborator, the alleged victim of a 2021 Hollywood shooting.
