A digital release date has been set for the blockbuster movie musical "Wicked," and it's sooner than you think.

You can still head to Oz with "Wicked" in theaters, but before the year is out, you'll be able to bring Oz home to you. Jon M. Chu's massively successful film adaptation of the Broadway show will be available on digital on New Year's Eve.

Universal’s Wicked, which will fly past the $400M mark this week at the domestic box office, has set a digital release in homes of Dec. 31. The Jon M. Chu directed Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande musical will be available for purchase on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Comcast Xfinity, Cox and Microsoft movies.
