BeyondTrust says an investigation of a December attack spree is nearing completion and SaaS instances are fully patched. Hackers used a stolen key to attack Treasury workstations.

The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) said today that the Treasury Department breach disclosed last week did not impact other federal agencies.

The Treasury Department revealed last week that Chinese state-sponsored actors had hacked into the agency’s workstations in early December and accessed unclassified documents.
