Texas overwhelmed the Rattlers, champions of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, 25-11, 25-8 and 25-14. The Longhorns cranked 42 kills and held Florida A&M to a negative hitting percentage, -.027, meaning the Rattlers had more attacking errors than kills.

Texas A&M opened on a 19-3 run and led 52-24 at the break. Dominguez scored 15 points and Agee had 10 as the Aggies shot 46% (17 of 37) that included nine 3-pointers. Florida State shot just 26% (9 of 35).

The Aggies yanked a rusher who possesses game-breaking speed from the Gators and other SEC schools on Thursday.

Receiver may be one of Florida's most talented groups do-it-all receivers Davian Groce, Florida's highest-rated signee, and Justin Williams, who a year ago was the first player in the state to reach 1,000 yards in both rushing and receiving since 2002, as well as Marquez Daniel, who unites with Sumrall after visiting Tulane after Napier's firing.

Despite coaching turnover, Florida football kept most of its 2026 recruiting class together through the Early National Signing Day period.
