Jack Hughes scored on a breakaway at 4:06 of overtime to fuel the visiting New Jersey Devils to a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

While the Flyers held their own in the first period of Wednesday night’s game at the Prudential Center, the middle frame was something you don’t save the video from. The Devils scored four times, drove Flyers starting goaltender Samuel Ersson from the net and went to a 5-0 payback victory.

New Jersey scored four times in the second period and Jake Allen made 24 saves as the Devils defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 5-0 on Wednesday. Ondrej Palat, Luke Hughes, Nathan Bastian and Dawson Mercer scored for New Jersey in a 13-minute span as the Devils won for the third time in four games.
