“No Kings” protests unfolded Saturday across Maryland and throughout the nation in opposition to President Donald Trump and his administration.

Trump even gave remarks at his event, claiming about the US: "We are the hottest country in the world right now... We've never done better."

WASHINGTON (7News) — From sidewalks in Rockville, Maryland, to overpasses in Arlington, Virginia and parks throughout the District, thousands of demonstrators gathered Saturday as part of the national “No Kings” movement—one of the largest coordinated protest efforts since former President Donald Trump returned to office.

The estimate of 250,000 on the 250th anniversary of the Army at an event titled “America250”? It’s a little on the nose, and does not match on-the-ground reports of turnout.
