The upcoming superhero series Lanterns is slated to serve as an important chapter in the DCU franchise as it will focus on the Green Lantern Corps from the comics. It will be part of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters and feature Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as John Stewart.

The Danish actor joins a cast that already includes Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Kelly Macdonald and Garret Dillahunt.

Variety has confirmed that Ulrich Thomsen has joined the Green Lanterns series in the recurring role of Sinestro. He will appear alongside previously announced leads Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre in the series, as well as cast members Kelly Macdonald, Garret Dillahunt, and Poorna Jagannathan.
