A scratch-off Illinois State Lottery ticket purchased from the Speedway gas station in South Elgin has netted some lucky winner $10 million.

A single Fantasy 5 ticket matching all five numbers drawn Monday, Jan. 6, won a massive $510,693 jackpot, according to the Georgia Lottery. The lucky player bought the ticket at the Girard Mall gas station in Girard, a tiny town of 184 residents near the Georgia-South Carolina state line, officials said.

Two winning lottery tickets, each worth thousands of dollars, were sold in the New York area on Tuesday. Lottery officials said one winning ticket was sold at a Brooklyn bodega on Rogers Avenue, and the other was sold at a Speedway on Fairview Avenue in Hudson.
