GREENSBORO, N.C. — Two water main breaks are impacting residents in Greensboro on Friday morning. City officials said one westbound lane in the 1800 block of West Friendly Avenue between Overlook Street to North Tremont Drive remains closed after a two-inch water main break.

Officials said the eastbound lanes of Benjamin Parkway are closed from Fairway Drive to Green Valley Road due to a 12-inch water main break. This is about a half-mile from where the road changes names from Joseph M. Bryan Boulevard. City crews will be onsite until repairs are completed and the lanes reopened.
