Google's AI model Gemini is getting even more personal. The company announced this week that enabling a new personalization tool will allow the AI chatbot to reference your search history to enhance and deepen its responses.

Google notes that you can disconnect your search history from Gemini at any time. When you receive a response, you’ll see an outline of how Gemini got its answers, as well as whether it referenced your saved information, past conversations, or Search history. It will also display a “clear banner” with a link to disconnect your Search history.

Google is adding new personalization features to Gemini, including an option to have the chatbot search across your Google ecosystem activity.
