The Danish foreign minister has scolded the Trump administration for its “tone” in criticizing Denmark and Greenland, saying his country is already investing more into Arctic security and remains open to more cooperation with the U.

Denmark is open to discussions with the U.S. on how to "fix" the status quo in Greenland, the country's foreign minister said, after Vice President JD Vance's visit.

Vice President JD Vance accused Denmark of failing to keep Greenland safe. The foreign affairs minister of Denmark scolded the vice president soon after: "We are open to criticism. But let me be completely honest: We do not appreciate the tone in which it is being delivered.
