UPDATE 4pm UK: Dragon Age game director Corinne Busche has now confirmed her departure from BioWare and EA in a statement to Eurogamer. In it, Busche said she had left the studio for a new post elsewhere, after being offered an oppurtunity to build a fresh RPG she "couldn't turn down".

Busche, along with John Epler, was one of the main figures responsible for overseeing Veilguard's final push across the release finish line.

Even so, it’s clear that the Game Director Corinne Busch is ready to move on from the project and from EA altogether, as she has officially confirmed that she will be leaving the company. As of now, no additional departures from BioWare have been announced, and this doesn’t appear to be part of a wider staffing change.

Though Busche leaves behind an 18-year career at EA, BioWare is reportedly otherwise unaffected.

On Friday, it has been confirmed Corinne Busche, who served as game director of Dragon Age: The Veilguard and worked at EA for nearly two decades is departing the company. Rumours of Game Director Corinne Busch’s exit were spread on the internet late last evening,
