ZURICH, July 17 (Reuters) - England came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 before beating Sweden 3-2 in a nail-biting penalty shoot-out to reach the semi-finals of the Women's Euros, with Sweden's Smilla Holmberg firing over to end the contest.
The bench was a huge weapon for England when they won Euro 2022 and, as we enter the knockout stages in Switzerland, it will be again. Sweden will look to wear England down with their physicality and Wiegman will need fresh legs off the bench.
