Y esterday was a really big deal for drone delivery junkies. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy unveiled a rule the drone industry has been waiting on for over a decade.

The idea of having a drone drop your packages off at your home may sound like a fantasy, but the concept is being tested right here in North Dakota.

On Tuesday, the FAA published a proposed rule change that would ease and standardize visual line-of-sight requirements when flying a drone. According to the FAA, this new Beyond Visual Line of Sight regulation would allow the use of drones in the fields of package delivery, agriculture and aerial surveying, among others.
