The Denver Broncos got back on the practice field for the first time in training camp, and Bo Nix remained a main attraction.

There are still throngs of Bo Nix critics hanging on to their pre-draft takes and skepticism. Before the Denver Broncos drafted Nix at No. 12 overall, the predominant tropes were that he was a "system quarterback" at Oregon with a subpar arm and that he'd quickly be exposed in the NFL.

As the NFL Draft neared last year, Bo Nix’s boosters drew favorable comparisons between the former Pinson Valley High School and Auburn quarterback and 13-time Pro Bowler Drew Brees. Those comparisons led to the conclusion that Nix would be a perfect pick for the Denver Broncos,

But there’s no unapproved PTO in Denver. Courtland Sutton, Bonitto, Franklin-Myers and Zach Allen — the Broncos’ core four angling for extensions this offseason — were all present and active at camp Wednesday, even as Sutton took limited reps.

The Denver Broncos made several big additions on both sides of the ball this offseason. On offense, the Broncos brought in tight end Evan Engram and running back J.K. Dobbins during free agency, and they used their second-round pick in the NFL draft to select running back RJ Harvey.
