The multi-platinum, GRAMMY Award-winning singer will debut the new SNF show open during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game on July 31.

Carrie Underwood has extended her relationship with NBC Sports and will continue to sing the 'Sunday Night Football' intro, despite confusion over her salary.

The news comes as Underwood is fresh off of finishing her first Idol season as a judge, replacing Katy Perry on the panel next to Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. Her last album, Denim & Rhinestones, dropped in 2022 and reached No. 10 on the Billboard 200.
