As the holiday season winds down and the smell of pine needles fades, there’s a unique way for Philadelphians to give their Christmas trees a second life — and it involves some furry friends. The Philly Goat Project is inviting the community to drop off their holiday trees for a good cause during its annual tree-cycling events.

The Farm at Awbury Arboretum is once again offering Christmas "Tree-Cycling," where your tree will be fed to hungry goats and then turned into wood chips.
