Aryna Sabalenka has won the Brisbane International, rallying from a set down against qualifier Polina Kudermetova to sharpen her tilt for a third-straight Australian Open title.

No. 1 seed Aryna Sabalenka overcame a spirited challenge from 15th-seeded Yulia Putintseva to record a 7-6 (2), 6-4 win in a Round of 16 match on Thursday at the Brisbane International in Australia.

This is the fourth title Aryna Sabalenka has clinched on Australian soil. She has won back-to-back Australian Open titles, while she also won this tournament previously in 2023
