NFL Scouting Combine invitations have already gone out and the official list of participants should be known in the coming weeks. The actual event begins Thursday, Feb. 27 and runs through the weekend;

But SEC dominance is still alive and well if you look at mock drafts. NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein released his Round 1 projections following the Senior Bowl and he included a whopping 15 former SEC standouts.

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s officially mock draft season! With the 2025 NFL Draft rapidly approaching, many content creators are taking their best shots at predicting which players every NFL team may add in a little over two months.

It's always good to see these players in person -- and yes, I've been accused (mostly by my podcast co-host Rick Spielman) of falling in love when I finally get eyes on these guys after watching them on tape for the last couple seasons -- and the 2025 draft cycle is no different.

NFL Draft is a few months away, and that means it is mock draft season. This is my first mock draft, and we will not be including trades in this one. You will see surprises, some obvious fits, and some players you would not expect to go so high being taken.
