the tour is about an hour. Absolutely take it. They provide so much information about instruments and bands that you would not get just wandering around on your own. The building is on several levels - there is an elevator if needed. I would allow two hours to be in the centre.

The hours of operation are Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00am until 5:00pm. Tours are included with admission and are held at 11:00am and 2:00pm daily. Thank-you, Visitor Services
